When I’m not serving food, working another gig, cooking, watching crap reality tv, or wasting time playing video games, I’m usually found harassing people on various other blogs around the net. Its not something I’m proud of, but something I do anyway.
Anyway, when you’re a food editor for a Chicago blog, you better know what you’re talking about, and for the most part, this next blogger does. Chicagoist’s Chuck Sudo has a personal blog I check up on from time to time, and out of respect I mostly leave it untouched. (Mostly because I’m such a jackass elsewhere)
Bridgeport Seasoning is a clearing house for a bunch of miscellany about the sadly neglected South Side that he collects living down where the streets have numbers attached to them. It also happens to be maffmatic’s neck of the woods too.
Chuck is less a food writer than he is a booze writer, but decent booze can make anything taste good. But the highest compliment I can give him is that his blog makes me want to move where I won’t get shit for my White Sox hat. What’s that? There’s no Cubs fans in Tokyo? Oh thank god…
